Mohamed Odah - Vice President of Americas



Mohamed Odah is the Vice President of Americas for Soprano Design, the leading mobile enterprise messaging and wireless application infrastructure provider in Australia and worldwide.


With 16 years experience in developing and delivering mobile enterprise messaging applications that satisfy high availability, high performance, security and scaling requirements Mohamed drives the technical implementation, delivery and support of the SOPRANO products base.


Mohamed was responsible for implementing a number of sensitive and large-scale projects locally delivering to Telstra, National Australian Bank, Centrelink, HCF, NRMA, Accor, Hutchison 3, AMP, and Optus, as well as globally delivering to Vizzavi and Ascom France, Hutchison 3G and O2 UK, AIS Thailand, NEC Japan and Mobinil Egypt.


Joining Soprano in 1998, Mohamed brought with him strong software and communication systems experience developed through a number of roles working for IBM, BHP and Telstra. Mohamed also participated in a number of leading technology conferences in Australia and coordinated the Sydney chapter of the Australian Java User Group as well as serving as a UNV with the United Nations Development Program.


Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems from the University of Technology Sydney.
