Telstra has extended its collaboration with Soprano for the provision of Telstra Integrated Messaging (TIM) for another three years.
Soprano Design today announced that it had extended its collaboration with Telstra (ASX:TLS) for the provision of Telstra Integrated Messaging (TIM) for another three years.
Telstra Integrated Messaging, powered by Soprano (TIM) is an enterprise-grade, cloud-based solution providing efficient and effective communications for its business and government customers. It utilises various communication channels such as SMS, MMS, email and social media.
TIM is based on the SOPRANO Mobile Enterprise Messaging Suite (MEMS). As a cloud-based service, SOPRANO MEMS enables mobile network operators to offer a set of ready to use applications in a ‘Software-as-a-Service’ model. SOPRANO MEMS allows mobile network operators to deliver intelligent automation of business processes to their enterprise customers with minimal upfront investment and rapid deployment.
TIM has many built in modules that can be deployed rapidly. Leveraging the available Application Programmaing Interfaces (APIs), these modules allow customers to manage solutions for:
- Desktop Messaging Communications
- Human Resource Coordination and Management
- Mobile Marketing
- Security
- Operations
Launched in 2007, TIM continues to provide thousands of customers and their users in the Finance, Health, Education, Social Services, Retail, Hospitality, Transport and Logistics sectors to automate enterprise communications.
“We are proud of this partnership which is delivering intelligent enterprise communication solutions to thousands of Telstra customers across the country,” said Tim Webber, Director Connectivity and Network Sales, Telstra.
“The extension of the TIM contract reinforces Telstra’s confidence in Soprano and our technology by one of the leading mobile network operators in the world,” said Horden Wiltshire CEO, Soprano Design.
“SOPRANO MEMS is so much more than an API and web based SMS. It includes a set of ready to use applications integrated with leading business applications that makes mobile messaging accessible to large enterprise and government organisations. The partnership with Telstra ensures that we automate and measurably improve the business processes of our customers with intelligent communications technology,” said Mr Wiltshire.
