Introducing TIM Advanced: Advanced Messaging for Advanced Needs

TIM Advanced

When two long-standing brands continue a strong partnership, the strive for innovation continues to grow and deliver better solutions for customers—who have also had a part in shaping innovation lately. Together, we’ve learned how businesses and their customers should better communicate during this digital transformation renaissance.

Customers have also been vocal with companies about who, how, and where they want to be communicated with. It’s not enough to assume that everyone wants to be messaged on the same channel the same way.

That’s why, together, Soprano and Telstra have introduced the TIM Advanced messaging suite.

What’s New?

TIM Advanced builds on Telstra’s existing TIM offer to provide customers enhanced capabilities which improve security, increase customer insights, and improve customer experience. In today’s mobile-first world, this sophisticated mobile messaging solution will take a customer’s digital transformation to the next level.

Two-factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an effective way to introduce an additional layer of security when users log in to the TIM portal. Not only does it offer peace of mind, 2FA reduces breach-related liability for organizations and is often a requirement for cybersecurity insurance. With costly ransomware and other breaches increasing in frequency, organizations need to make a plan to future-proof their security. Should an organization decide to opt into cybersecurity insurance, 2FA will be a minimal requirement. Without it, 2FA is a nessessary initial guardrail.

Advanced Reporting

TIM Advanced reporting capabilities offer customers enriched analytics enabling detailed insights on how their end customers are using their messaging services. Not all messaging is created equal for everybody. With TIM Advanced reporting, organizations will have the ability to make their data actionable and tweak their communications to fit their customers’ needs

Consent Management

The new consent management feature allows users to manage consent preferences of their target customers who are receiving messages from the TIM portal, enabling them to comply with messaging regulations and give their end customers control of the messaging experience they want.

We’re thrilled about this next generation of TIM and how Telstra’s customers will be able to draw deeper insights while providing a more superior messaging suite to make every interaction meaningful.

To celebrate the launch, Telstra is offering eligible customers 30 percent off their subscription for the first year – available until October 31, 2021. Learn more by contacting your local Telstra sales representative.
