November 23, 2021, Sydney – Soprano Design, a global communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) leader, was named a 2021 Communications Alliance Awards (ACOMM) winner for Best Mobile Solution for its service to help with COVID-19 contact tracing, vaccine rollout, and hospital-to-patient communications.
“Soprano Design’s innovative approach and execution exemplifies what the ACOMM’s judging panel were looking for—particularly from a relatively new player,” said John Stanton, CEO of Communications Alliance. “Congratulations to the Soprano team; this national recognition is well deserved!”
The 15th annual ACOMM Awards highlighted the telecommunications industry’s best organisations and achievements in Australia over the past year. How the world adapted to a mostly digital way of living provided a wealth of opportunity for organisations, hospitals, and brands to initiate a more direct way of communicating.
Better customer experience initiatives became mandatory while mobile messaging channels like SMS, email, and voice drove the main engagement between brands and their customers. Soprano saw an influx of organisations across several industries build out their communications initiatives to meaningfully interact during the pandemic.
“The last two years proved organisations need to engage and deliver critical information in a trusted way,” said Marshall Hampson, Communications Manager at Soprano Design. “We’ve enabled our customers to reach their customers when and how they want to be reached. With something like the pandemic and the communications around it, citizens want to feel like they’re being heard while being equipped with the best information at their disposal. It’s been empowering to see these powerful outcomes take place. We’re thankful for the ACOMM judges for recognising the work we’re doing to unleash organisations’ communication potential.”
